Relaxed Farmhouse Kitchen
Once dark and heavy, this kitchen was reimagined with a relaxed, cottage-inspired farmhouse feel. Working within the existing footprint, the space was transformed into a lighter, airier kitchen with warmth, character and an easy, welcoming feel.
A soft sage finish gives the existing cabinetry new life, complemented by warm-veined quartz and handcrafted white subway tile.
Removing the island made room for a classic pedestal table and refurbished chairs, while wide-plank vinyl flooring replaced the original tile and brought warmth to the space.
Natural light, a view to the garden and simple, collected details reinforce the kitchen’s fresh, relaxed cottage character.
Previously unused open shelving was styled with simple, collected pieces, adding warmth and personality to an overlooked corner.
An existing cabinet was transformed into a practical message centre, creating a dedicated spot for everyday notes and essentials.
An alabaster apple tucked among collected pieces adds a personal touch and subtle nod to the client’s career as an educator.
